Been to Lijiang and Shangri-la, 2 cities which are within YunNan province. We were in a tour package of 5 days and 4 nights vacation ( seriously its only 4 days cuz by the time we reached there by plane, its already in the afternoon, and on the last day we left in the afternoon -_- ) LiJiang is a town 2.5km above sea level, while Shangri-la is 3,2km above sea level, so to make things short, we were on a vacation to highlands and mountains. Well, the air is pretty dry up there, and its winter, so there wasn't any clouds or mist blocking our bird's eye view down mountains and taller mountains as we flew towards the highlands.
